    About this opportunity:The Scottish SPCA is Scotland's only all-animal rescue service and their work is done without any government funding
     •  Volunteers are vital to the society's work and currently new volunteers are needed to assist the Legacy Fundraising Team with some basic administration duties
     •  Volunteers will be helping to contact and thank the society's generous supporters and maintain the supporter database, as well as other administrative tasks such as photocopying and filing

    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - We pay mileage at 0.45p per mile up to 15 miles each way (up to 30 miles total) per volunteering shift. We also cover train/bus tickets up to £12.50 per return journey. Volunteers provide a bank mandate form and submit their expenses request within a month of incurring the request. Expenses are processed and reimbursed by our finance team twice monthly.

    Experience required:You will need good basic IT skills, an organised approach and the ability to work unsupervised. We are looking for someone who can commit to helping out one day a week so you should also be reliable and consistent. While experience of working with databases would be beneficial, it is not essential.
