     •  We offer a range of services including information, advice, rehabilitation, technology training, befriending and social groups
     •  Do you enjoy walking and being outdoors? Would you like to support someone with a visual impairment while enjoying and learning about nature? Seescape are working with Ramblers Scotland to bring sensory walks to Dunfermline
     •  The short sensory walks introduce clients to the textures and sounds of nature and learn how each tree is different
     •  Strolling through the park they can interact with nature while making new friends outdoors
     •  As a volunteer it is expected that you will be friendly, approachable with good communication skills
     •  You will be able to commit to regular attendance, travel independently to and from venues, as well as using your initiative where required to help with the overall smooth running of the group

    Training provided:The following training is provided: Induction training, Guide Assistance training. It is a requirement that the volunteers actively feedback their training needs and the volunteer will be responsible for familiarising themselves with policy and procedure affecting their role.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - Reasonable travel costs are reimbursed at 45p per mile if using a private car. It is expected volunteers would not be travelling/claiming more than 10 miles to get to a venue where meetings take place, unless absolutely necessary or if agreed that will be transporting client/s. Full driver checks required (including insurance, MOT and driving license).

    Experience required:As a volunteer you would be warm, friendly and welcoming with excellent all-round communication skills. You will be comfortable with social interactions with staff, volunteers and clients at all levels .An awareness of general health and safety is advantageous in your role.
