     •  As a Step by Step group support volunteer, you would be helping to support bereaved people by giving them a chance to socialise and meet with others who have had similar experiences
     •  If you are a caring and empathetic person who can help support bereaved people to feel less isolated, more understood, cared for, listened to, and supported Cruse Scotland would value your contribution to their team

    Training provided:Training will be provided by the coordinator and fellow volunteers. Volunteers also have access to CPD workshops and online eLearning.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - 45p per mile and public transport rates when volunteer expense form is submitted.

    Experience required:Special skills to help out Step by Step are not required but it would be beneficial for volunteers to have: -Excellent listening and communication skills pAn enthusiastic approach -A willingness to try new things -Empathy and understanding -Able to volunteer as part of a team
