    Post: Employability Officer

    Hours: 36 per week

    Salary: £28,069 - £31,122 Per Annum

    Kingdom Housing's Employability Project, Fife Works, aims to raise the employability skills of unemployed Fife residents, and link target client groups with training and employment opportunities. They are recruiting an Employability Officer to be based within the Fife Works Project at their Crosshill base, who will contribute to raising the employability skills of unemployed residents of Fife, who are seeking to enter, or re-enter employment or training opportunities with particular emphasis on liaising with employers to create job opportunities and work placement opportunities. You should have relevant experience working in employability support, with a good knowledge and understanding of the range of issues and barriers unemployed clients face. You should have up to date knowledge of employability funding sources and compliance conditions and programme rules, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills, particularly in developing relationships with employers and external agencies. A current full driving licence and use of car for work purposes is essential for this post. This is a fixed term post until 31 March 2019. You will be required to complete a satisfactory Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland check.
