Voluntary Action Fund have opened the new Scottish Government Workplace Equality Fund.
The aim of this one-year fund is to support private businesses (and third sector organisations whose project proposes to work with private business) in reducing employment inequalities, discrimination and barriers in the workplace. The funding will support employers in reducing employment inequalities, discrimination and barriers particularly across the arts, culture, leisure, tourism, finance, manufacturing, construction, agriculture and fishing, transport and communication and STEM sectors. Applications must focus one of the four target groups: minority ethnic people; women; disabled people; older workers (those aged over 50 years). The next deadline date for applications is 29 March 2018.
