  • FifeConnect: Kirkcaldy - networking and information sharing for frontline staff

    Created: 04/01/2018, Updated: 08/01/2018
    News/Events Category: Community Events

    When: 12 - 12:45, Thursday 25 January 2018
Where: New Volunteer House, 16 East Fergus Place, Kirkcaldy, KY1 1XT
This event is being organised by Fife Voluntary Action

It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

FifeConnect is a new series of networking and information sharing events hosted by FVA and designed for frontline staff from third and public sector agencies.  They will take place across Fife on a regular basis - perhaps quarterly - we'll be guided by local demand!

    FifeConnect will help you to:

    • Meet new people working in local communities
    • Find potential referrers/referrals for your own clients/service users
    • Learn about new services/developments that might affect your work
    • Seek help or collaborators for issues or ideas you might have

    FifeConnect is:

    • Informal and relaxed
    • Free to attend
    • Flexible - drop-in and leave when it suits you
    • Short and sharp - lasts 45 minutes, starting at 12 noon

We'll provide tea, coffee and a biscuit - simply bring along a sandwich or lunch of your choosing (we regret that there are no food heating or preparation facilities available).

    FifeConnect: Kirkcaldy

The first FifeConnect event will take place at New Volunteer House (16 East Fergus Place, Kirkcaldy, KY1 1XT) at 12 noon on Thursday 25 January (bring your own haggis sarnie!).  There's no need to book - just turn up as close to 12noon as you can to get the most from the opportunity.  FVA colleagues will be on hand to serve tea, share some information and answer any queries you might have.  We look forward to seeing you there.

New Volunteer House is very easy to get to by bus or train, or by foot if you're in central Kirkcaldy anyway.  Parking is available on the street (30 minutes, free) or at the train station car parks or some local streets have free parking up to 1 hour.  Also, you could park at The Postings for £2 for the whole day and do some shopping afterwards.
