Salary: National Minimum WageThis is an exciting opportunity to work as part of the Centre for Stewardship Trust. This post is funded by Community Jobs Scotland so in order to apply, you need to check with your Job Centre on eligibility.
Reporting directly to the Centre Director, you will assist with the smooth running of the Centre's offices.
Duties include:
- Answering the phone and dealing with face to face enquiries;
- Assisting the Centre Director with the processing of grant claims;
- Ordering stationery supplies
- Dealing with email enquiries;
- Ensuring that the office filing system is in good order;
- Act as a contact point for their volunteers.
Essential:
- Organised;
- Punctual;
- Basic numeracy and literacy;
- Good communication skills;
- Some use of computers;
- Experience of social media e.g. Facebook, twitter;
- A desire to learn and develop.
Desirable:
- An interest in the work they do e.g. care for the environment;
- Able to use Excel and Word.
