  • Scottish Government Consultation: A Healthier Future

    Created: 07/12/2017
    News/Events Category: General News

The Scottish Government has issued a consultation document and request for responses on A Healthier Future: Action and Ambitions on Diet, Activity and Healthy Weight.

The document itself seeks views on three main strands - transforming the food environment, living healthier and more active lives, and leadership and exemplary practice.

Fife community planning partners will be submitting a partnership response through Fife Health and Wellbeing Alliance.  If you wish to influence the Fife response please get your comments to Jo-Anne Valentine, Public Health Manager at NHS Fife.  Feedback needs to be with Jo-Anne for the collective response by the end of 2017.

Organisations and individuals can submit responses directly to the Government.  The closing date for responses is 31 January 2018.

To read the consultation document, see the questions and the response form please visit http://www.gov.scot/Publications/2017/10/1050
