Let ARC Scotland help by training your trainers to deliver ARC’s Medication Training to your staff and in turn help protect the people you support.
ARC Scotland's one day Medication Train the Trainer course has been designed for people who are already competent trainers and who have the responsibility for delivering training within their organisations.
Below are just some of the points the training will cover:
- Legislation Principles of Care The Roles and Responsibilities in the use of medication;
- Common Types of medication and their usual use;
- Pharmacology Techniques for administering medication;
- How to record and report on the use of medication.
The course is delivered with the use of a PowerPoint presentation, case studies, group exercises and relevant practical equipment. At the end of the training, participants will receive a training manual and CD containing all the handouts, case studies and PowerPoint presentation used on the day.
