    Post: Electrician (Multi-Skilled Operative)

    Hours: 38 per week

    Salary: £23,894 - £28,069 

    Kingdom Housing Association provides housing and support throughout East Central Scotland. The in-house maintenance team carries out repairs and maintenance works in their properties. Whilst their Depot is based in Glenrothes, you will be expected to work at and from any other properties operated by them throughout East Central Scotland. You will carry out maintenance work in their properties. You should be a qualified electrician or an approved electrician and should also be able and willing to carry out some limited multi-trade works when required such as basic joinery work or similar. You will carry out periodic inspections, repairs and alterations to their housing stock and offices. Several years experience in a maintenance environment is desirable. You will be required to participate in the out of hours emergency on call rota for which an additional allowance will be paid. A van will be provided therefore a current driving licence is essential. You must be able to demonstrate a flexible approach and enthusiasm for your work and should be able to work well on your own and as part of a team of multi skilled operatives. You will be required to complete a satisfactory Standard Disclosure Scotland Check. In return for the above they will offer an attractive salary and benefits package.
