    This event is being organised by Coalfields Regeneration Trust
    This particular event is free to attend, so no payment is required.

    The EFAW course is a one day course which covers:

    • the role of the emergency first aider;
    • assessment of the situation;
    • administration of first aid to an unconscious casualty;
    • cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR);
    • choking; wounds and bleeding;
    • shock;
    • use of an Automated External Defibrillator;
    • minor injuries.

    Every candidate on a First Aid Scotland EFAW course receives a delegate pack which includes: fully illustrated manual, procedures worksheets, aide memoire cards, pens, hi-vis first aider lanyard and an A4 certificate.
