This event is being organised by Coalfields Regeneration Trust
This particular event is free to attend, so no payment is required.
It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.The EFAW course is a one day course which covers:
- the role of the emergency first aider;
- assessment of the situation;
- administration of first aid to an unconscious casualty;
- cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR);
- choking; wounds and bleeding;
- shock;
- use of an Automated External Defibrillator;
- minor injuries.
Every candidate on a First Aid Scotland EFAW course receives a delegate pack which includes: fully illustrated manual, procedures worksheets, aide memoire cards, pens, hi-vis first aider lanyard and an A4 certificate.
