    Created: 28/08/2017, Updated: 30/08/2017
    News/Events Category: Community Events

    When: 10.30am-12.30pm, Saturday 23 September 2017
Where: Dunnikier Country Park, Kirkcaldy, KY1 3LP
This event is being organised by Greener Kirkcaldy

It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

Join Greener Kirkcaldy for a wander through Dunnikier Woods discovering the toadstools, mushrooms and bracket fungi that live there. Discover the important role these organisms play in the ecology of the woods, hear about the folklore surrounding them and, who knows, you might find an edible species or two. This event is free and open to all ages - the walk around the woods is about 2 miles and can be a bit muddy. Do come dressed with the Scottish weather in mind. They will be leaving from the car park outside Dunnikier House Hotel.

There are limited spaces available so booking is required. To book your place on this course please visit their website.

For more information please contact Greener Kirkcaldy using the contact details provided below.
