Salary: £24,538 per annum
Hours: 36 hours per week
Fife Gingerbread is recruiting a Support Worker for the Fife Teen Parent Project. The purpose of the Fife Teen Parent Project is to identify and support the needs of young teenage parents (16-19) and will work in partnership with a wide range of local and Fife wide agencies, focusing on intervention, prevention and engagement of services.
The Fife Teen Parent Project requires a skilled worker who is able to support parents to establish good parenting skills, develop peer networks and engage with support services where required.
You must have a qualification in a related discipline such as Social Care, Early Education & Childcare, Nursery Nurse, etc. to SCQF Level 7 or equivalent demonstrable experience.
Experience (paid or unpaid) of providing information and assistance to vulnerable children, young people or families in a range of settings is essential as is experience of working within a voluntary organisation, pre-school, school, community, health or social work/care setting.
