    News/Events Category: Community Events

    When: 10.00am - 4.00pm, Saturday 20 May 2017
Where: Ravenscraig Walled Garden, Ravenscraig Park, Kirkcaldy
This event is being organised by Greener Kirkcaldy

It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

Learn the basics of organic growing at Greener Kirkcaldy's training allotment in Ravenscraig Walled Garden.

Attendees will be looking at what type of growing space you have, what to grow, and how. They also discuss why organic growing can be good for nature, our environment and our health.

Training will be delivered both indoors and outdoors so participants are advised to dress for the weather and wear strong shoes or boots. There will also be plenty of time for questions during the session.

There will be a break at 12 noon, so please bring a packed lunch with you. Hot drinks and snacks will be provided.

The course is suitable for complete beginners and growers who are considering growing organically.

Places are limited and must be booked. To book your place, call them on 01592 858458, e-mail [email protected] or drop into their High Street Hub, 254a High Street, Kirkcaldy, Wednesday to Saturday, 10am - 4pm.
