If so, then all volunteers must attend their preparation course. Attending this course will provide you with more information about Home-Start East Fife to help you decide if volunteering with them is right for you.
The course is designed to be informative and also fun, it includes sessions on confidentiality, child protection, listening skills, values and attitudes, the role of a home-visiting volunteer and positive parenting.
Tea and coffee will be provided and there is free parking available at Petherum Bridge car park behind the bus station, with some free on-street parking. There are also car parks on Argyle Street, however, whilst they can reimburse travel expenses they are unable to reimburse parking charges.
