Fife CEDAR Plus information and newsletter
Created: 23/03/2017CEDAR plus is a therapeutic programme, so children / family need to be in a safe place to start the programme.
Following Fife Cedar Plus's EYDAR (early years domestic abuse recovery) pilot in Dunfermline, they successfully applied for funding from the Big Lottery Fund. With additional support from Education and Children’s Services they have launched Fife CEDAR plus - incorporating the new EYDAR programme as well as the CEDAR programme that they have been successfully delivering since 2008.
This has allowed them to increase their capacity for CEDAR groups again and EYDAR is now Fife wide.
Their groups for next term start week commencing 17 April 2017.
Monday Morning – EYDAR (Early Years Domestic Abuse Recovery) – they are still taking referrals for EYDAR – please give them a call on 01592 583676 for more information
Tuesday Morning – 8 – 10 years – this group is now full
Tuesday Afternoon – Mothers group – this group is now full
Wednesday morning – Mothers group – this group is now full
Thursday evening – Teen groups – this group is now full

Remember you can refer into the service at any time, all referral are taken over the phone and take about 20 mins to complete. The assessment stage can take a few weeks/months to complete so the sooner you get the referral in the better, this gives them time to work with the family before the start of group.
