    Changing Faces is running a research project to look at the everyday lives of people living with a disfigurement throughout the UK.

    The project is looking at how people live their lives, their experiences of education, the workplace, public transport, and personal relationships. They want to build up a body of evidence to use in their campaigning activity around Face Equality Day in May 2017.

    They are very grateful to everyone who takes part in their research.

    Before beginning the survey, please note:

    • the survey may take up to 45 minutes to complete;
    • you should only complete the survey if you have a condition, mark or scar that affects your appearance, or you are completing it on behalf of someone who does;
    • the survey is completely confidential but does ask some personal questions, such as about your work, your health, and your relationships;
    • you should only complete the survey if you live in Scotland, England, Northern Ireland or Wales (the UK).

    Remember, the survey may take up to 45 minutes to complete – so grab a mug of tea, make yourself comfortable, and click here to begin.

    The survey will close on Tuesday 28 February 2017.
