    This event is being organised by Fife Carers Centre

    This information session is being presented by Fife Carers Centre and is intended for carers of children who have additional support needs and are in the 10 to 18 age range.

    The purpose of the session is to help these parent carers to prepare for their child's transition to adulthood and will cover topics such as:

    • What is meant by Transition;
    • Understanding the Transition process;
    • Choices available to young people;
    • Making decisions on behalf of an adult with incapacity;
    • Benefits and Finance;
    • Self-Directed Support; and 
    • Long term planning for the future.
