The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is a leading voluntary organisation, supporting people with a broad range of needs to live in their own homes, as part of their community. They are an organisation driven by strong values and a firm commitment to choice, dignity and social inclusion. They support over 2,800 people throughout Scotland and are committed to delivering services that recognise people as individuals and treat them with dignity and respect; just like we would all want ourselves.
They are currently looking to develop across the East of Scotland including, Edinburgh, Lothians, Borders, Stirling, Falkirk, Dunfermline, Cupar, St Andrews, Levenmouth, Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy and are looking for people who can help the people they support to be successful active citizens.
They are therefore looking to recruit new staff members to join their team. If you're fit, healthy and up for something new, this is the opportunity for you. The people they support have a variety of complex needs but still want to lead active and fun lives. So they need staff that are up for a challenge. For example:
There are various posts, including full time, part time and waking night support available. Although it's great if you have some understanding of this type of work, more important to them are your values and enthusiasm. This is an excellent opportunity to make a change in your life and in that of the people they support. The work can be challenging, but as well as a competitive salary, enhanced pension contributions and annual leave, childcare vouchers and discounts at over 850 online and high street retailers, they can offer you a rewarding and satisfying role in your local community.
