    Bennochy Parish Church are looking for volunteers for the Olive Branch Community Café.

    The Olive Branch cafe opens on a Thursday from 10.30am until 2.00pm serving teas/coffees, soup, sandwiches and home baking at a very reasonable cost. Customers are older people and others who may be isolated in the community. The café offers them a welcoming, safe environment to enjoy good food and company. It is hoped that volunteers will get involved in several of the following duties:-

    • Preparing cafe area;
    • Serving and clearing up;
    • Kitchen duties and dishwashing;
    • Making soup and sandwiches;
    • Operating a simple till;
    • Greeting customers and befriending.

    Time and Place: Methven Hall, Bennochy Parish Church, Elgin Street, Kirkcaldy.
