This item will show under the following categories: Climate/EnvironmentPrinces Trust, in partnership with Greener Kirkcaldy will deliver a free one week course, Get Started in Sustainability, in September. This is a free course for young people ages 16 – 30 who are living in Kirkcaldy, to improve employability skills, giving participants the chance to learn about climate change and sustainability and their relevance.
On this programme, participants will gain:
- A range of skills including cooking skills, growing food, energy usage, bike maintenance and more
- A knowledge of some of the roles in the sustainability sector
- Improved confidence, interview skills and team-working skills
Travel expenses will be re-imbursed.
Application deadline: 07 September
Taster date: Tuesday 12 September 2023
Course dates: Monday 18 September to Friday 22 September inclusive
