Costs
Places for voluntary sector delegates (staff, committee members or volunteers) £15.00 per person
Places for non-voluntary sector delegates are £15.00 per person
It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.Greener Kirkcaldy will be exploring the park and woods, creating hideouts, finding interesting things, looking at trees and wildflowers, doing natural crafts, playing games. Outdoor play has lots of benefits for children - the fresh air and exercise is great for their health and wellbeing, it also encourages a connection with nature and offers opportunities to learn about and engage with the natural world. Being part of a group to explore the outdoors encourages the children to develop skills in communication, socialising and teamwork. They take a child-led approach and encourage children to try things out for themselves in a safe environment. Their team will offer support and provide resources.
Suitable for children aged 5-12 years old. Wheelchair accessible. The venue and play space are accessible with care - the ground may be uneven. Booking is required as spaces are limited.
