Are you interested in working with others to improve support for people experiencing mental health issues and looking to make the journey (back) into work?

Delivering Differently (DD) envisions a Fife where people with mental health problems can easily access appropriate support as and when they are ready to make the journey (back) into work

As the title suggests we are aiming to do things a little differently, and so in advance of inviting applications for our 6 month pilot fund we will be hosting three Co-Design sessions. The sessions will be a great opportunity to share creative, innovative ideas and to explore potential proposals for the fund.

To do this we are inviting people with lived experience and people with an interest in mental health and employment who want to be part of the way forward. Both parties will be involved in the design, development and delivery of the bids.

The fund offers a great opportunity to test new ways of working or to undertake development work on a new idea.

In March we held 10 workshops across Fife which brought front-line practitioners, decision makers and people experiencing mental health issues together to discuss what types of support would assist people towards and into employment. The feedback from the workshops has been collated and will be presented at the co-design sessions.

The DD Pilot Fund is looking for bids which will help improve employment pathways for people with mental health problems in Fife and which:

    • Focus on the localities of Cowdenbeath, Kirkcaldy and Levenmouth, due to high levels of self-reported mental health problems and deprivation in these areas.
    • And/or address the issues faced by rural areas in Fife.
    • Have consulted and engaged people with lived experience of mental health problems in the design, development and delivery of the bids.

While attendance at the co-design sessions is not mandatory to bid into the fund, it is hoped they will allow people this opportunity to meet these criteria.

If you would like to take part in one of the workshops, please book using the book now button on this page.
