    Location: Dysart and Kirkcaldy
    Salary: £20,532 - £21,920 per annum

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is a leading voluntary organisation, supporting people with a broad range of needs to live in their own homes, as part of their community. They are an organisation driven by strong values and a firm commitment to choice, dignity and social inclusion. Although they support over 2800 people throughout Scotland, they are committed to delivering services that recognise people as individuals and treat them with dignity and respect, just like we would all want ourselves.

The organisation are currently looking for a creative dynamic individual to be a Senior Support Worker to join their team in Dysart/Kirkcaldy. The Senior Support Worker role has line management responsibility for a team of staff, so building good working relationships with junior members of staff is key to this role. You will be part of a committed team, supporting individuals with a variety of needs.

The Kirkcaldy services support individuals to live independently in their own homes. The people enjoy a variety of activities and some require assistance to access their local community facilities, shopping, preparing food, paying bills and general household tasks, and some need assistance to attend medical appointments. There is one full time post available (one year fixed term, 37.5 hours per week), with flexibility to work the full range of shift patterns within the service. Due to the dispersed nature of this service it is essential that you have access to a car.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a change in your life. The work can be challenging, but as well as a competitive salary, enhanced pension contributions and annual leave, childcare vouchers and discounts at over 850 online and high street retailers, they can offer you a rewarding and satisfying role in your local community. For further infromation please contact the organisation by either telephone: 01334 657517 or e-mail: e-mail: [email protected].

Closing date for applications is Friday 19 August 2016.
Short listing is planned for week commencing 22 August 2016. PVG checks will be required of all successful applicants; having a conviction will not necessarily debar you from working in this sector. Charity No SC021621
