Big Lottery Funding Equals Big Plans for West Fife Enterprise
Created: 11/09/2014West Fife Enterprise (WFE) is delighted to announce they have received funding for £900,000 from The Big Lottery meaning they can more than double the number of people a year they assist. Their new Employability Academy provides opportunities for people aged 16-64 to gain skills, qualifications, work experience and everything they need to enter or return to employment or progress to higher level of skills or further education if that is their preferred objective.
The Employability Academy will allow WFE to target people struggling to get into the job market, especially people from the most deprived areas in West/Central and other parts of Fife and involve many other partners we work with on the ground. There is a high demand amongst Fife employers to have people with skills for modern employment and they will make a significant contribution to meeting that need.
Our other significant partners are - Fife Regional College, European Structural Funds and Fife Council.
